World Travel Market: Supercharge your blog

It’s my immense pleasure to announce that I’ve been appointed as a speaker at the World Travel Market 2011.

Joined by Darren Cronian (Travel Rants, My Life in Leeds) and Rich Whitaker (Brilliant Travel Media), the presentation and panel at WTM’s Social Travel Market – the in-house fringe conference event – will be all about WordPress.

The official page on the Social Travel Market website gave the following description for the event:

WordPress is the blogging system most used by travel bloggers. The panel talk about how they went about setting up their blogs and the techniques and plug-ins they have used to improve the look of their blog, the best plug-ins, how to drive traffic to it, and, importantly, how to make money or drive sales.

The “supercharge your blog: presentation and panel” event will take place on the Thursday, 11 November, in the North Gallery Rooms 4 & 5 at 11:15. If you’re attending World Travel Market this November please swing by and quiz us on anything WordPress-related – I’ll do my best to impart my knowledge on this well-loved blogging platform and help you decipher it!
